Almost didn’t make this one XD.
Starting to get really comfortable with this coloring style… and just in time. I really didn’t think I was going to be able to update this week due to other art projects.
Finally the Skyward takes off. But will it fly? Tune in next week :B

I hope the mystery device is waterproof. Oooh… There’s a thought! If you designed the ship with the gadget under the waterline you suddenly have a jet boat or a hydrofoil.
I’m sure it will occur to her eventually.

Some early designs I was thinking about for the ship had the engine part underwater… but considering the size of the engine, the ship would have to be a lot bigger/heavier to get it underwater, making it tougher to get the whole boat airborne. It is waterproof though

Absolutely amazing comic. The pencilwork is very clean and a stylistic kind of simplified, and the colours are really beautiful. And what little I’ve learned of the background to the story sounds very interesting too. You’ve got my TWC vote every day, mate. Looking forward to more.

I’m coloring the page right now, so it should be up later today :]. I feel terrible about missing last week’s update, but a lot of stuff happened that stole away some days from my usual free time XD. I’m still learning how to webcomic, so I’ll try to work around these obstacles in the future.
