Been thinking about this part forever. Even when I was doing those old pages, I had something like this and the scenes that follow in mind. It’s hard to explain how fun it is to finally be getting the pages almost exactly the way I imagined them years ago XD.

Toilet Genie is beautifully illustrated webcomic with an intriguing cast of characters and an even more interesting mythos behind the story. It’s tough to summarize this one, but it starts when a genie transforms an abandoned pug into a human girl. Throughout the comic, we’re treated to some spectacular visuals, especially when we start to learn more about the mythological aspects of the story.
I really admire the amount of thought and effort that has gone into the back-story and characters of this comic. Definitely worth reading!

Oh, on a side note, I went back and made a bunch of edits to pages 31-43, mostly to fix a problem I had with the faces and expressions XD. Photoshop’s Liquify filter is my new best friend :B

Haha, I love using Liquify on my sketches to quickly fix those structural problems I always have with faces XD.

Haha! Oh, Ten. Is he asking her on totally romantic reasons or more of “Let’s Have An Adventure With An Awesome (Platonic) Friend!” reason? I see him as particularly dense. But it could just be me and all the shounen manga I’m reading.

For Ten, it’s a bit of both. There’s this girl he really likes and he wants to go on an adventure with her :3. Mentally, he’s still just a kid, so he doesn’t quite comprehend his feelings… yet :B.

hehe, she really is literally FALLING … for him. Over a chair. But don’t let that disappoint you, Ten. She still fell for you.
Also, I love the design elements that kind of go together … her wrist thing and his hair thing are so similar, my initial though seeing them together was that some sort of relationship bond was going to happen BECAUSE LOOK matching accessories!
And thank you for linking my comic. ;_; I wasn’t expecting you to write a little journal and a paragraph on it. *hug*
Have you thought any about next year cons? Or maybe you already planned to attend with others … but uhm! I dunno. I’m looking forward to meeting you at Kumori at least. ^^ I won’t recognize you of course [unless you have an Everblue shirt on], so you’ll have to introduce yourself for me … but I really would love to make your acquaintance! :3

Whoa, you’re exactly right about the ribbon and the bandanna. They represent something that Ten and Luna have in common. I even use the same red for both when I’m coloring :].
