A little late again… I’ve been coloring some of Chapter 1 and I got a bit caught up in that earlier this week when I ended up redoing some of the art (that had previously already been redone) X’D

Anyway, here’s the new page .

Sorry for not updating last week, but I was off at Sakuracon. Speaking of which, I just want to say thanks to everyone who stopped by the table . You’re all awesome and you made it the most successful convention for Everblue yet :]

I’m starting on the artwork for the second Amya Chronicles short story soon, so updates here won’t be picking up their pace for about a month and a half XD. But, if you want to see what I’ve been working on, or just want to read another great comic :3, head on over to Amya.

There’s a new vote incentive up, featuring a small bio of a character who relates to Dagger :3. I’ll try to get back to those requested vote incentives from a while back as well, haha.

The PDF is the same version of the chapter I’ll be selling at Sakuracon this April. Anyone who has already purchased the chapter will be getting their PDFs shortly.

Big news! I just got my table assigned for Sakuracon 2012 (April 6-8)

I’ll be at Small Press table 20 right across from the artist alley. Prints of Chapters 2 and 3 will be available as well as some posters, postcards and other things :]. A print of Chapter 1 with some of the new content will be available for reading as well. Looking forward to seeing anyone there

Took a short break to finish a bunch of edits to the entire comic XD. If you clear your browser’s cache, you’ll notice that all of the pages are now slightly larger and formatted more like these recent ones. I also made a bunch of continuity and art fixes. More info here.

This was all to get ready for Sakuracon this year. I’ll be in small press again :]. Chapter 1 won’t be available for purchase unfortunately, but I will have a preview of the inked pages I’ve done so far out for people to read.

Also, in some big news, I’m going to be doing the artwork for an upcoming Amya Chronicles short story . Amya is one of my favorite comics, so I’m really looking forward to working on this :]

I’ve got plenty of sketches I could post as vote incentives, but I want to do something more fun, so I’m opening those up for requests! If there’s anything you want to see, just comment with the request and it might just be the next vote incentive :3

Sorry for the wait. Apart from me spending more time getting stuff ready for Sakuracon, things are a little complicated in real life now . It’s really frustrating because I know I could update these grayscale pages several times a week if I was better at managing my time.

XD Anyway, you might have noticed that the rendering is a little different on this page (my going back and forth on the technique for this page has contributed to the delay). I’ve decided to switch over to Photoshop for the shading. Manga Studio is nice and a breeze to use, but screentones are a bit cumbersome [for me] to work with. Grayscaling in Photoshop feels a lot more natural to me, and I think I like the result a bit more :]
